CHARACTERISTIC

Marble Acrylic Sheet allows you to bring the natural beauty of stone to your manufactured products. The earthy designs and realistic representation of these materials is achieved through a unique blend of pigments and a unique casting process. When combined with a physical surface texture selected from our Impressions Series, Marble acrylic sheet can match the appearance of honed, or mottled stone.
All sheet sizes are “nominal” to allow for cutting blade kerf.

Thickness tolerances are typically +/- 10% of the overall thickness of the sheet which is normal for cast acrylic sheet.

Why use CAST Acrylic verses EXTRUDED Acrylic ?
Continuous Service Temp: 180° F (Cast) vs. 160° F (Extruded)
Formability Temp: 340° F to 380° F (Cast) vs 290° F to 320° F (Extruded)
Cast acrylic has a higher molecular weight, therefore it will cut, drill and rout cleaner.
When machining cast acrylic, shavings will flake off whereas extruded acrylic shavings may gum up on the tool.
Cast acrylic also offers better glue-joint effectiveness and performs better in laser cutting.
